WASHING THE HAIR:

BHAMH  recommend washing your hair extensions with BHAMH intense hydrating shampoo and following with BHAMH intense hydrating conditioner at a minimum of every 2-3 weeks. Cleansing the hair from oil and product buildup increases the longevity of your extensions. Also use BHAMH anti-itch and Growth Oil on your scalp for your natural hair underneath. You can find all three of these products on the website.

STYLING THE HAIR:

BHAMH recommend using wide tooth or paddle brushes to detangle and style your hair extensions. The use of fine tooth-combs may snag the hair and lead to unnecessary shedding.

Curly Hair Textures: In a spray bottle mix water and BHAMH intense hydrating conditioner/curl refreshing product and spray over hair. Finger comb through to distribute. Finish off with an oil mist for shine. Be sure to allow hair to fully dry without manipulation to reduce frizz.

BEFORE BED:

Using a wide tooth-comb or paddle brush, gently comb/brush through hair. Braid or twist hair in sections. Tie the hair down with a satin scarf and/or a BHAMH bonnet to maintain moisture and minimize unwanted frizz and shedding. For a curly look, install flexi rods nightly and remove in the morning. (More flexi rods=curlier look)
